Did you know that RE/MAX Gold has a company headquarters—although, we prefer the term “Service Center”, as it’s more indicative of the role we play when it comes to working with our 1,450 agents.
Our Service Center is located in Fair Oaks, which is just outside of Sacramento. Here, at 5200 Sunrise Blvd., Suite 5, there are many departments that help RE/MAX Gold succeed on an operational level. While most of your questions or concerns as an agent are fielded by your Office Manager, we want you to know that the members of our Service Center are just an email or phone call away! Our Accounting Department plays a huge role in the success of RE/MAX Gold through all of the work that they do “behind the scenes”. Led by Brian Neill, Director of Accounting, there are many members of the accounting department, each with their own set of tasks.

Our Administrative/HR Department is under the direction of Marie Chatlaong. Marie’s day includes a variety of tasks, as she oversees all Administrators within the company—including hiring and training administrators. She also performs all of the Human Resource functions for all RE/MAX Gold. Whether it’s collecting time cards, reminding us of important tax documents or letting us know when there’s a special occasion to wear jeans, Marie communicates with all employees on an on-going basis. Karen Bailey is the RE/MAX Gold Controller. She keeps a close watch on all financials pertaining to RE/MAX Gold as a company, in addition to reporting for the company. Karen’s eagle eye and attention to detail keeps RE/MAX Gold compliant with all industry standards when it comes to operating as a business in California.

You know the little fairies who come into the office and magically transform them into beautiful spaces? Well, the secret’s out: there are no fairies—that’s the work of Jennifer Mosher, Director of Facilities, and Tom Efstratis, Facilities Tech. Jennifer and her team are in charge of all RE/MAX Gold offices when it comes to repairs, improvements, moves, renovations and everything in between. Many of us have a love/hate relationship when it comes to technology, which makes us so grateful to have John Adams, Director of IT/Voice Services, here when things go sideways! John and Eric Parker are the ones who save the day when there’s an outage or issue. John oversees daily troubleshooting, but also maintains a “master plan” when it comes to the company networks. They are also the ones who assist with setup when it comes to moves, upgrades and expansions between offices. You may be familiar with our legal team from MEC Live-stream events or special presentations. Vern Hansen is the Vice President of Risk Management for RE/MAX Gold, who works with our Co-Brokers of Record, Bev Kendall and Anthony James. This department works proactively to reduce the risk of legal predicaments for our agents through the use of trainings and informational live-streams. They are also our resource for mediation and coordinating with attorneys when issues arise in the company. Our Marketing Department consists of Jan Young and Lauren Kurtz. As the Director of Marketing, Jan’s day-to-day tasks involve creating marketing pieces on behalf of RE/MAX Gold. More likely than not, you have seen and admired Jan’s outstanding designs through things like our events, company marketing materials and even our annual lapel pins! Jan also works with our Office Managers with troubleshooting on behalf of agents. Lauren Kurtz, our Social Media Manager, not only plans and posts on our social platforms, but also creates all of the content you read in the Gold Nation News (like the one you’re reading now), manages Front Porch, oversees Gold Connect and updates all of our company websites. Service Center Administrator
Lillian Rios is our Service Center Administrator, who he keeps the Service Center afloat! Lily sits at the entrance of the Service Center and handles a myriad of tasks each day; from broker signatures to sending out courier bags, Lily wears many hats at the Service Center. Lily also plays a large role when it comes to agent onboarding, including ordering new signs and adding agents to many of our RE/MAX Gold systems. Transaction Management Services (TMS)
Our TMS program is led by none other than Cathy Risk. Cathy oversees all of our Transaction Coordinators and every element of the TMS program. Not to mention that every single transaction completed by a RE/MAX Gold agent crosses Cathy’s desk; to say Cathy keeps busy is an understatement!
