Previously with RE/MAX Accord, please join us in welcoming The Alux Group team leader Ted Chen and his new team members Fiona Wu and Brendon Yim, to Gold Nation! The Alux Group will be working out of the RE/MAX Gold office in San Jose at 1122 Willow Street, Suite 100.

Ted Chen, Team Leader of The Alux Group, joins RE/MAX Gold in San Jose, CA.

Ted Chen found his entrepreneurial spirit at an early age, buying bubble gum in bulk and reselling individual packets to his middle school classmates. He graduated to trading used computer parts and starting brick-and-mortar businesses as well as e-commerce computer stores. In the early to mid-2000's, Ted began providing custom web-based solutions and managed a multi-million dollar domain names portfolio (online real estate), then expanded into acquiring and operating an ICANN accredited registrar.

Ted's experience in “virtual” real estate quickly translated into "real world" real estate when he decided to enter what he refers to as “ultra-competitive short-term real estate transactions” —more frequently referred to as flipping—and successfully completed several small to large flips. In 2016, Ted became a licensed Realtor and focused on real estate full-time, closing $25 million in transactions within the first two years in and beyond the San Francisco Bay Area, where he has lived for over 30 years. Ted currently lives in Fremont with his wife Phina (a full time rescue volunteer and PR coordinator for lovesecondchances.org), two children, and their beloved German Shepherd named Bonnie. He is an avid USTA tennis player and has captained his team to local championships.
