Darren and Kimberly have worked together as a real estate team since 2016. As a married couple, the two combine their strengths to create a powerful impact of services to best provide for their clients. Together they average 15 transactions per year, with an average sales price of $2.2 million.
Darren first became a real estate agent 30 years ago. Prior, he worked as a contractor and is still a California Licensed Contractor, giving him the experience and knowledge needed to help his clients with home improvements and inspections. He can point clients in the right direction of what work to do to bring more value to their homes and give insider advice to find the right contractor for a project. As a Masters Certified Negotiations Expert, Darren provides negotiation tactics to help their clients win more deals and get the most for their homes. He values continued education to be up-to-date on the best practices for their clients.
Kimberly previously worked in healthcare for 25 years at a hospital in Reno. She began in healthcare working in marketing and then in oncology. Since transitioning into real estate in 2016, Kimberly has used many of her skills from healthcare to working in real estate, including patient/client care. As she works with her clients in real estate, she often draws from her degree in psychology to best attend to their emotions during their life-changing events of buying or selling a home.
As Darren and Kimberly look to the future of their business, they plan to grow and expand into other markets. With the recent decision for Kimberly to join the Reno market, they needed a brokerage that could cover both areas to bring consistency to their work. Gold Nation was the answer, reaching over California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington. Darren and Kimberly look forward to possibly expanding into other markets as well with the large footprint of Gold Nation.
