Diez and Sigg Properties Joins Gold Nation
Joining the Sierra Oaks office, Gold Nation is delighted to welcome Diez and Sigg Properties! Headed by Craig Diez, this group hails from Carmichael, CA, and comprises a dynamic team of over 25 agents.
The world of real estate is constantly changing, and the ability to adapt and form strategic partnerships is crucial for success. Craig's journey exemplifies this. Until 2006, he was a franchisee of Coldwell Banker. However, in a significant turning point, he closed his franchise and teamed up with Clay Sigg, also at Coldwell Banker, setting the stage for a crucial phase in their careers.
After years of collaborating and working together, Craig and Clay made the bold decision to start their own independent brokerage, Diez and Sigg Properties. Clay assumed the role of broker, while Craig focused on being the sales agent. Together, they built a robust team of 35 agents, sharing responsibilities to create a supportive and conducive environment for their agents to flourish.
Unfortunately, tragedy struck last year when Clay passed away. This sad event prompted a period of reflection for Craig, who had to contemplate the next chapter for their company. Over the past decade, Keith Ard, Gold Nation CRO and President of Norcal and Nevada, had been encouraging them to join RE/MAX Gold. Recently, with the support of Office Leader Jane Lippman, Craig believed this would be the most logical step to help his company reach new heights.

Craig decided to bring his whole team with him to Gold Nation. As a small business, many of his agents appreciated the environment and had left the corporate world to escape its confines. Craig knew he could not take his agents back into a corporate setting. However, with RE/MAX Gold, he could offer the benefits of a corporate infrastructure, including the tools and resources necessary for growth, while maintaining the small business management style his agents desired.
Craig is thankful for the opportunity to join RE/MAX Gold. He especially appreciates Keith Ard and Anthony James’ honesty and leadership throughout the process. He valued their agent-centric approach and the discussions on creating a win-win situation by joining forces. Everything promised has been delivered, and Craig is optimistic about the future.
