John O'Keefe Joins RE/MAX Gold

Each week we have the privilege of introducing an outstanding agent to Gold Nation, and this week is no exception. Please join us as we welcome John O’Keefe to RE/MAX Gold in Petaluma!

Previously with Keller Williams, John is a local expert of the Petaluma market, as he’s called the North Bay his home for about 50 years.

When Timo [Rivetti] came over to RE/MAX Gold I decided to take a look and really liked the office being right in the heart of the community.”—John O’Keefe

John has been working in real estate since 1993, but before that he actually worked maintenance on the Golden Gate bridge! “People say working in real estate is scary, but for me, after walking on the bars of the Golden Gate bridge, it’s a piece of cake!”

In his 26 years in the industry, John has been very involved in his community. From being Realtor of the Year in Petaluma to coaching kids in soccer and baseball, John has spent many years sowing into the thriving Petaluma community. The relationships he’s cultivated throughout his career have allowed him to work almost exclusively with his sphere and referrals in this season of his career.

While he’s not quite ready for “retirement” (or as much as any Realtor® really retires) John is enjoying this stage of his career and knows that RE/MAX Gold will be his home base for the rest of his time in real estate. Now, when he’s not working, John loves to spend time with his young grandkids. He also enjoys snow skiing alongside his wife at Lake Tahoe!
