Sy Nwokocha Joins RE/MAX Gold

We’re excited to share the newest addition to the Elk Grove office: Please join us as we welcome Sy Nwokocha to RE/MAX Gold!

Previously with Lyon Real Estate, Sy’s decision to join us stems from his past experiences working with the Manager of the RE/MAX Gold Elk Grove office, John Shook.

Sy has been a Realtor® for the past 17 years in Elk Grove and the surrounding Sacramento region. Having earned a master’s degree in Environmental Biology from Syracuse University, Sy spent many years working as a scientific researcher prior to his real estate career. What started as a side project of investing in properties and land development grew into a new passion for Sy, and he eventually made the decision to pivot his career and devote his full attention to real estate.

When he’s not working, Sy enjoys keeping up with his kids, who are all grown. Whether he’s watching one of his sons play football, supporting his children that are pursuing acting or just catching up with his daughter, who is a Harvard graduate—family is of the utmost importance to Sy.
