Val Turner Joins RE/MAX Gold

We are excited to introduce Val Turner as the newest member of RE/MAX Gold in the El Dorado Hills office!
Previously with Nick Sadek Sotheby’s, Val is a top producing agent who services El Dorado Hills, Folsom, Granite Bay and Rocklin, and is a Masters Club member in both Placer and Sacramento Counties.

Val has 13 years of industry experience, including a background in investment management and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Marketing. Having spent many years consulting, training top-level executives, managing multi-family buildings and working in the real estate construction field, Val’s vast knowledge of all aspects of real estate makes her an extremely valuable asset to her clients.
In 2018, Val teamed up with Gail DeMarco to collaborate on a listing, which ultimately led to to the start of the Turner DeMarco Team and their move to RE/MAX Gold. “The flexibility and structure to create a team environment is what initially brought us to RE/MAX Gold,” says Val. “But also the national brand played a big role in our decision. We considered launching our own brokerage, but with the uncertainty of the emerging market, and a saturation of boutique brands on the rise, we wanted the backing and recognition of the national RE/MAX name.”

The Turner DeMarco Team consists of both Val and Gail, as well as their team members, Joanne Meneses from Sotheby’s and Ryan Grob from Keller Williams, in addition to Jenise Keller (Client Care Manager & General Manager for Maven Haus Staging), Kelly Gooch (Transaction Coordinator), Laura Daniels (Listing Coordinator), Julie Pedro (Compliance Coordinator), Amber Dias (Listing Designer), Lisa Graves (Lead Staging Designer, Maven Haus Staging) and Sara Belden (Associate Staging Designer, Maven Haus Staging).
In addition to her thriving real estate career, Val also owns a staging company called Maven Haus in El Dorado Hills. From consultations to hands on staging, Maven Haus takes a home from “well lived in” to “I want to live there”—which helps clients sell their home faster and for more money.
Additionally, Val is extremely active in her community. She volunteers with a local non-profit, AspireKids, that works with under privileged children in the area. Val also volunteered in Paradise, CA during the recent wildfires and later this year will be traveling to South America with her church on a mission trip to provide clean water, a new school and a new church for a small village in Honduras.
Although she hustles in real estate, stages with Maven Haus and volunteers her time for worthy causes, Val’s #1 priority is her family. Whether it’s walking her kids to school or going on family camping trips, Val is excited to restore a sense of balance in her career so she can further invest more of her time in making lasting memories with her family.
