Commercial Agent Spotlight: Ranga Pathak

Did you know RE/MAX Gold has a growing roster of agents who work primarily in Commercial Real Estate? We would love to introduce you to one of our phenomenal commercial agents: Ranga Pathak from our Roseville office!

Ranga is a seasoned agent, celebrating her 20th anniversary of working in commercial real estate sales. 

Before venturing into the world of real estate, Ranga was a trained architect. In 1998, she moved from the UK to New York and became fascinated with the weekly commercial real estate section in the newspapers. This fascination prompted her to apply for commercial real estate positions in New York. Ranga launched her new career with an industrial real estate company, where she worked in the Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods of New York. "I learned from the very best!" she says. 

After 3 years working in New York, Ranga packed up and moved west to California. In 2002, she became part of our community at RE/MAX Gold!

While at first glance commercial real estate seems similar to residential sales, there are many differentiating factors that make commercial real estate a league of its own. "Being that what you sell/lease could be an office building, a shopping center, an industrial warehouse or a parcel of land, every transaction is unique with its own set of parameters and challenges," Ranga says. "That's what makes the business exciting. I could not see myself doing anything else!"

Ranga's background in architecture makes her an asset when evaluating properties, and gives her an extra edge against the competition. 

When she's not hustling in the world of commercial real estate, Ranga enjoys reading, practicing yoga and traveling.
