Gold Connect: What it is, How it Works & Why it's a Valuable Resource

So you’ve heard the buzz about Gold Connect, and maybe you’re thinking “what’s Gold Connect?” or “how do I get set up?” In this article, we’re giving you the rundown on what exactly Gold Connect is and why it’s a useful piece in your RE/MAX Gold tool box!

What is Gold Connect?

Gold Connect is an internal networking platform created exclusively for RE/MAX Gold agents. This intranet functions within the company and gives our agents, administrators, managers and staff the opportunity to reach the entire RE/MAX Gold population, or a select group of people, through a single post.

Each agent has the ability to fill out their own profile with a photo, contact information and even a bio. This helps your fellow agents get to know you and gives them the information they need to contact you directly; it could result in more business for you!

How do I join?

There’s a good chance you already have an account! When new agents join the company, they are set up on Gold Connect as a part of their on-boarding process. When your Office Manager sends in your New Agent Packet to our Service Center, we take your primary email address and create an account for you. The Gold Connect system then automatically populates and sends a “Welcome” email with a prompt to validate your account and set a password.

What type of things Should I post?

Gold Connect is the perfect place to post a new listing, find an open house to host, share an upcoming office event or ask for vendor referrals. It’s helpful for making connections with other agents from different regions of Gold Nation and even to stay in communication with the agents in your area!

What are “loops” and how do I use them?

Think of “loops” like a room. Each room has a designated purpose that gives you an idea of what you might find there. For example, if you are a member of the Roseville office, then you’ll be assigned to the Roseville loop. This is where you’ll post updates or questions pertaining to your office and can interact with your fellow Roseville agents.

Agents are also subscribed to our group of Agent Collaboration loops, where all of our RE/MAX Gold agents can view posts. This is the perfect place to post your new listing, discuss buyer needs or find an open house to host! When creating a post, you’ll select the folder that pertains to your post and other agents in that folder will be notified to what you’ve shared.

The Company News loops are a great resource for seeing what’s new in Marketing resources, Company wide events or fundraisers for Children’s Miracle Network! While these loops require special access to post in, they’re perfect for reminders and updates from RE/MAX Gold.

how do i start a new post?

First, select the loop you want to post in. For example, if you want to post your new listing, click the New Listings loop from the Agent Collaboration section. Once you’re in the loop, find the “+” button in the top right corner. Select the appropriate “folder”, fill out the information prompts, add any photos you want to share and click “Publish”. That’s it!

How can I find old posts to reference?

In the top right corner, there is an icon that looks like magnifying glass that acts as a search field. For example, search “logos” or “listing presentation” and you’ll find posts where you can locate these items (and yes, you can find these on Gold Connect). You can also use the search feature to find a member on Gold Connect!

can i access gold connect from my phone?

Yes, there is a Gold Connect App! Just search “Gold Connect” in both the App Store and the Android Store.

*Please note: If you have never set up your account in Gold Connect, you’ll need to do so using the link that was sent to your email. Please do not try to create a new account directly from the app.

I forgot my password, who should I contact?
