At the young age of 10, Gloria immigrated with her family to the US from Portugal, eventually settling in Watsonville in 1970, where she has proudly resided ever since. Gloria’s parents did not speak English, resulting in Gloria often translating on their behalf. Doing so forced her to be outgoing, a trait that defines her to this day.
Gloria is no stranger to hard work. She worked in the berry fields and K-Mart before eventually deciding to go into real estate. For over ten years, Gloria owned her own real estate company, building her career from the ground up to become one of Watsonville’s top producers.
As a social individual, she enjoys working with her clients and getting to know new people every day.

Gloria uses her outgoing personality to help her clients feel comfortable throughout the real estate process as an agent.
Gloria strives to have real estate continue in her family. As a single mother, she raised two incredible young men. Years ago, Gloria convinced her son to get his real estate license. Tony Melo, a prominent name in Watsonville real estate, has walked in his mother’s footsteps, and she is grateful for the chance she has to see him grow as a real estate agent himself.
